Welcome to
doongalla counselling

Thank you for stopping by! Please take some time to explore this page which outlines the online and Croydon counselling services I offer. Whether you're feeling worn down from the restrictions of Covid-19 or are experiencing relational conflict, overwhelming emotions or challenging life circumstances, please know that you are not alone. It can be daunting reaching out for help: it is unknown and can feel really scary. But I'm so glad you have taken the first step today by visiting the counselling services of Doongalla Counselling.

Alternatively, if you represent a community group or business and would like to support your community's mental health, please contact Doongalla Counselling to discuss workshop options and topics. We would love to come to your event, staff meeting or other community function and facilitate your team's wellbeing goals through a tailored program. More information will be on the counselling services page shortly.

Whatever your needs and goals, or even if you're unsure of what you are looking for but know you'd like some support, please feel free to contact me using the details on the contact page for a chat.

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Go well, Kate

Doongalla ~
Place of Peace

Doongalla Counselling seeks to be first and foremost a place where you can can feel safe. Safe to explore your goals, emotions, relationships and life experiences in a confidential, judgement-free space.

The name 'Doongalla Counselling' reflects this aim. Doongalla is an Aboriginal word commonly believed to mean "place of peace". It is my hope that all who engage with our counselling services find a place of peace, not only in the therapy room, but  inside themselves also. So come; bring yourself just as you are, with all your fears, parts of yourself you're ashamed of, disappointments and griefs, and allow yourself to heal.
